LIPLIFT
The area between the upper lip and the nostrils is longer than normal in some people. Elongation of this region is sometimes due to the very thin upper lip, and sometimes the lip tissue sags with age. As a result, the upper lip loses its youthful, full-fledged appearance. In order to reverse this effect, lip lift operation, namely lip-lift surgery, is performed. The operation basicly includes the removal of approximately 3-4 millimeters of skin tissue from the area adjacent to the nostrils and the base of the nose, with an incision shaped like a bullhorn suitable for the skin folds and the contours of the base of the nose, depending on the degree of sagging on the lip, the release of the orbicularis muscle from the skin, which allows the lip to contract, and the subsequent closure of the defect. The effect is permanent and does not need to be repeated. If done properly, it creates a significant rejuvenation effect in the upper lip area.
Recovery time is about 2 weeks. After a complete healing, there will be no vsible scar left. Liplift surgery can be combined to different aesthetic operations in the face.
The surgery takes about half an hour to 40 minutes.
